Default carbon fiber trunk lid

Came across this on a forum for DIY composite parts. (fiberglass, carbon fiber)
I'm not completely sure, but i think it's an insert that replaces the rear window glass of an e36 compact trunk.



Although the poster isn't giving a lot of info, here's the thread. (more pics though)

I imagine it would make it look like a big ass Honda Del Sol (weird).
