Especially in the area. I live in Knoxville so it wouldn't be a big drive. Keep us posted! ------------------ Why look like all my friends at high school and drive a civic, when I can beat them in my TI? | | | 03-17-2002, 11:27 PM | #4 | Junior Member Join Date: Jun 2003 Location: Griffin, Georgia, USA Posts: 11 | Hey Lee, Sorry I just got around to replying to you today I was down in Sebring at the big race, but anyways it sounds great Andy | | | 03-21-2002, 01:34 AM | #5 | Junior Member Join Date: Jun 2003 Posts: 18 | Hey, I'm up for suggestions or anything it was mainly just a thought i had and if i could get something together it would be great. I live in western NC, about an hour from Deal's Gap actually. But I'm only a couple hours from Atlanta also. Has anyone ever thought of renting a road course for a day? It might be worth looking at the cost during the right time of the year. It might be reasonable if we got enough people interested. We could also just attend a CCA event at the same time. Anyway, a ti meeting would be fun. | | | 09-20-2004, 02:40 AM | #11 | Senior Member Join Date: Jun 2003 Location: Greenville, SC Posts: 9,356 | We tried to do that a few years ago in the Washington DC area. It fizzled out. On the ti mailing list we talked about doing the Dragon. Also hopefully there will be a lot of ti owners at this year's Ofest in Greensboro, NC. The track will be VIR. It is in September05 this year. If people don't want to attend Ofest we could get together the Saturday before or after. __________________ ...steven BMW CCA #146825 1996 BMW 328ti • 2003 MINI Cooper S • 2016 M235i www.bmwcca.org | | | 09-23-2004, 03:38 PM | #12 | Senior Member Join Date: Sep 2004 Location: Columbia, SC Posts: 528 | Ok, well turns out that the idea was a little old...but it seems that there's still interest...
