At least the garage got the worst of it, the car probably isnt too smashed up. __________________ "Drive Fast and Take Chances" | | | 11-19-2006, 11:05 PM | #4 | Senior Member Join Date: Nov 2005 Location: çî†ÿ øf åNgëL§, CA Posts: 5,314 | Quote: Originally Posted by SDKmann I would beat the living crap out of my kid and then sell him as a child laborer to pay for the car if that ever happened (and if I ever had a kid). I understand if you were to say, he took the keys and wrecked it, but why hit him if you gave him the keys to begin with. Sh!t, if anything your kid should slap you. | | | 11-19-2006, 11:02 PM | #5 | Senior Member Join Date: Nov 2006 Location: Clearwater, Florida Posts: 153 | Yeah! I agree, If I ever had kids myself, he..wouldn't last long :P Not sure what will come first, blind fury of rage, or the shotgun. | | | 11-19-2006, 11:12 PM | #6 | Senior Member Join Date: Nov 2006 Location: Clearwater, Florida Posts: 153 | Lol, thats true. It would be complete ignorance of the parent to hand the keys of a new car to someone who can barley drive, nontheless a 14yr old on manual. :P | | | 11-20-2006, 01:15 AM | #7 | Senior Member Join Date: Aug 2006 Location: Central NJ Posts: 2,440 | Quote: Originally Posted by kirbykirbykirby3 Lol, thats true. Not that I should be saying much (I'm 17), but I know people our age (esp younger) are pretty naive. I don't suggest you get a stick unless you really know what you're doing. I learned on my mom's stock 2.0l neon. Oh, also: Occupation: IT Professional--Network Support Administrator/Analysis I didn't know you had a career already. | | | 11-20-2006, 02:07 AM | #8 | Senior Member Join Date: Nov 2006 Location: Clearwater, Florida Posts: 153 | I know how to drive stick since I was 13. Its the only way you can drive a car in south America, Automatic just does not cut it. Oh, and yup I have a career, since I was 13 as well, walked in a Computer store, asked to intern, 6 months later hired as a tech. Got my A+ Certification, and I'm currently heading for MCSE! =D | | | 11-20-2006, 02:08 AM | #9 | Senior Member Join Date: Nov 2005 Location: çî†ÿ øf åNgëL§, CA Posts: 5,314 | Quote: Originally Posted by kirbykirbykirby3 I know how to drive stick since I was 13. Just make sure you complete a bachelor's degree because even if you know a lot, not having one will limit your earning potential. | | | 11-20-2006, 02:44 AM | #11 | doesn't care about you. I totally agree that you need at least a bachelor's degree in Computer Science to really make decent $ as a desktop tech/server architect. I work with some of the most brilliant IT professionals in the industry and you would be amazed by how many of them are going back to school for mba's and additional college education. __________________ '99 Dinan M3 | | | 11-20-2006, 02:17 AM | #12 | Senior Member Join Date: Nov 2006 Location: Clearwater, Florida Posts: 153 | hahahahaa! I never had the porsche my whole life. And i dont have a gt but a GT3. And that wouldnt get me a million dollars cuz i havent told a million people. Maybe like 20 bucks from the car? I dont tell everyone cuz not everyone needs to know. On the other hand, this is internet, and i dont know you guys personally, so it doesnt matter who knows or not on here. But do me a favor though..... end this topic now. Let this be the last reply about this and lets get back on topic about the kid who smashed the car. | | | | | Currently Active Users Viewing This Thread: 1 (0 members and 1 guests) | | Posting Rules | You may not post new threads You may not post replies You may not post attachments You may not edit your posts HTML code is Off | | | |
