Default '99ti front rotors

I am having trouble finding rotors for my ti. It has the vented rotors on it stock but every place I have ordered from they send me solid rotors. Does anyone know if brembo makes the correct rotors for my car and the salesman is just screwed the pooch and ordered the wrong ones for me? If brembo doesnt make them does any aftermarket company make them or am I going to have to bite the bullet and buy the OEM. If that is the case where can I get them for a good price. The dealership wanted an arm and a leg.

Next time just ask for 1999 328i rotors.
Same thing and less of a chance of them making a mistake.

BRAKE DISC, VENTILATED 286X22 2 04/1998 34111165455 $75.04
Find a dealer that offers 20% off MSRP with a BMW CCA membership.
That would make it $60.00 each if you want genuine BMW parts.

There are other companies you can go with but they are not OE.

Well that advice didnt work either. Now I have two sets of rotors to return. The rotors for the 328 are a full 1" bigger in diameter. Anyone else have any advice?

Where are you buying parts from?
The ETK lists the same part number for a 328 and a >4/98 ti.
That was an E36 328, not E46.
E46 rotors are 300X22

They are brembo rotors. I am ordering them from Tirerack.com. This is getting frustrating. Now I have two sets of rotors to ship back to them. What exactly should I be getting them to check to see if they fit?

According to the ETK disk the size of the rotor is 286X22.
That is the same for a ti built after 4/98 and an E36 328.
Non-vented rotors are 286X12
If you got rotors with a larger diameter (300X22) they may have sold you E46 rotors.
I did not notice specs on the tirerack website.

Brembo's site doesn't even have it right.
They list a ti rotor for 94-00
http://www.brembo.com
They do have a rotor Brembo Part Number: 09.5390.20 that is 286x22 when I searched for 328s.
