Anyone from the bay area? | | | 09-26-2013, 06:15 PM | #2 | Senior Member Join Date: Apr 2008 Location: Bethlehem, PA Posts: 1,106 | which window? the hatch window or a back window? i have two sets of windows i am looking to sell. If you are in need of rear windows (not hatch window) i can get you pair of professionally tinted ones sent out today or tomorrow. If you just need one rear window, either pass or driver side, i have ones that are tinted, but not sure if they are professional or not, but still nice. unfortunately, it would take a few days to get in the mail. Priority is like 3 days, overnight is like 1 - 2 days let me know. | | | 09-26-2013, 07:33 PM | #3 | Senior Member Join Date: Jan 2010 Location: San Francisco, CA Posts: 425 | Rear passenger side small window in the back that pops open slightly, I don't need anything tinted just need a good OEM glass. | | | 09-26-2013, 07:49 PM | #4 | Senior Member Join Date: Apr 2008 Location: Bethlehem, PA Posts: 1,106 | if you cant find anything local later and just need a window, let me know and i will have it shipped out. it will just be tinted, but tint can be removed. I still have your exhaust and bumper but I don't think those are going to help much | | | 09-27-2013, 06:16 AM | #7 | Senior Member Join Date: Jan 2010 Location: San Francisco, CA Posts: 425 | Hey Derek! Did you out that diff in there? No more whining? Heh Yea it sucks... But it happens I guess.. Anyway I decided to go out right and went through GEICO and ordered a new genuine bmw window from the dealer through a body shop, and they will install it. Petty good deal since my car isn't going to be sitting in the city with a busted window and I get a free rental and it all costs me around $250. Thanks all! | | | 09-27-2013, 06:30 AM | #8 | Member Join Date: Jun 2013 Location: Seattle Posts: 56 | Dang, thats rough though. No, not yet. I drained it, and have been spinning it. It seems a lot smoother than mine, I just need a free weekend to get it in there. Mine is really starting to get noisy now. Thanks again! | | | 09-27-2013, 06:37 AM | #9 | Senior Member Join Date: Jan 2010 Location: San Francisco, CA Posts: 425 | Yea... Good luck putting it in, procedure is rather basic.
