I'm not sure if you need to take the tire off to get at it,i've never messed with it b4. Someone correct me if i'm wrong. __________________ 98 Avus Blue 318 ti Active clear outs all around, stealth turning signals, blue led interior lights, 35% tinted windows,K&N air filter, 12" Kenwood Sub, MTX Thunder Amp,Alpine cd changer, Leatherz Armrest,ACS Pedals/Handbrake/FloorMats & Vitesse Tuning Carbon Fiber B-Pillars/CF Spark Plug Cover, New 16" MSW Typer 14 Rims on Goodyear Triple Treds www.myspace.com/avusblueti | | | 06-28-2005, 04:21 AM | #3 | doesn't care about you. Easiest to get to from underneath, take out 3 8mm bolts and drop the plastic pan. The sensor is in the middle of the brake duct. I had my temp sensor disconnected for a while, and it also read -40 all the time. __________________ '99 Dinan M3 | | | 06-28-2005, 08:58 AM | #4 | Junior Member Join Date: Feb 2005 Location: Las Vegas Posts: 18 | thanks tyler and dustenT......would neither of u know the color of the wires......because i had the sensor competely riped off.....but i cant seem to find the wires that go with it?...... | | | 06-28-2005, 11:44 AM | #5 | Senior Member Join Date: Nov 2004 Location: Bremerhaven, Germany Posts: 977 | Since I am neither of them, I guess I can reply. If yours got ripped off I guess that doesn't matter, does it? __________________ '99 Dinan M3 | | | 06-28-2005, 05:23 PM | #7 | Junior Member Join Date: Feb 2005 Location: Las Vegas Posts: 18 | thanks for everyones help...... | | | 07-07-2005, 08:33 PM | #8 | Member Join Date: Mar 2005 Location: Davidsonville, MD Posts: 68 | I think mine got ripped off too so don't feel bad. I noticed it hanging under my car, and before I got a chance to deal with it, it disapeared. Now I too have to experience that harsh -40 degree weather. | | | | Currently Active Users Viewing This Thread: 1 (0 members and 1 guests) | | Posting Rules | You may not post new threads You may not post replies You may not post attachments You may not edit your posts HTML code is Off | | | |
