I bought them because I planned on doing a few driving school events this (coming) year, but at this point I don't think I'll have the time to get the rest of the car ready for them. I'd just as soon sell them. I'm located in Wisconsin, and they are a bit heavy, so shipping might be fairly expensive. I can arrange to meet anyone in the Madison/Milwaukee/Chicago area though. I'd like $90 plus shipping, if required. | | | 01-02-2007, 04:23 PM | #2 | doesn't care about you. Join Date: Aug 2004 Location: Denver, CO Posts: 3,925 | What is the part number? Any idea if they will work with the 32X vented rotor upgrade? I'll buy them if they'll fit. Is this for front and rear, or just fronts? __________________ '99 Dinan M3 | | | 01-02-2007, 05:27 PM | #3 | Senior Member Join Date: Sep 2005 Location: Milwaukee Posts: 236 | They are at home, I'll get the part number up in the morning. My brothers '95 325i and my ti both list the same part number, however. So they should work. This is fronts only. They are yours if you want them. I can hold them as long as you'd like, or just let me know when to get them to you. | | | 01-07-2007, 05:08 PM | #4 | Senior Member Join Date: Sep 2005 Location: Milwaukee Posts: 236 | Dusten - I was wrong. they are not HPS, they are HP Plus. These are the autocross/track pads that can be used on the street. The HPS are the high performance street pad. Still available at the same price if you want them. The HP-Plus are over $100. | | | 01-07-2007, 07:00 PM | #6 | doesn't care about you. Maybe we can meet up again some time? We'll be having a bimmerforums get together soon, if you can wait that long. I'd hate to pay for shipping when you're only an hour away. __________________ '99 Dinan M3 | | | 01-08-2007, 01:59 AM | #7 | Senior Member Join Date: Sep 2005 Location: Milwaukee Posts: 236 | If I get a week or so notice, I can meet pretty much any time. Just let me know. I'm sure you've got a couple months before you'll be needing a set of track pads! | | | 01-08-2007, 02:01 AM | #8 | doesn't care about you. Between WAIX and SCCA I should be able to race every weekend this summer. __________________ '99 Dinan M3 | | | 01-08-2007, 04:24 PM | #9 | Senior Member Join Date: Sep 2005 Location: Milwaukee Posts: 236 | Quote: Originally Posted by DustenT Will you be doing any autocrossing this year? I noticed after each run during the event that I had a LOT of power steering pump whine. Now the steering seems to be excessively slow, expecially at low speeds, and there is more play in the steering than there should be. It is just enough to bug me, but not so much that if I didn't know better I would think there is a problem. Like I said, a weird thing. | | | 01-08-2007, 04:31 PM | #10 | doesn't care about you. I added some fluid and it went away. My PS is in serious need of some maintenance, thinking about changing the container/filter thing and doing a PS fluid flush this spring. There are how-to directions some where on the forum. __________________ '99 Dinan M3 | | | 01-10-2007, 03:35 PM | #11 | Senior Member Join Date: Sep 2005 Location: Milwaukee Posts: 236 | Sounds like it is time for a new thread, regarding power steering problems. | | | | Currently Active Users Viewing This Thread: 1 (0 members and 1 guests) | | Posting Rules | You may not post new threads You may not post replies You may not post attachments You may not edit your posts HTML code is Off | | | |
