I doubt it came from the factory that way. Not in the US anyway. Is that Dakar Yellow I? They tended to fade. Hard to tell without other pictures. Seems priced right. __________________ ...steven BMW CCA #146825 1996 BMW 328ti • 2003 MINI Cooper S • 2016 M235i www.bmwcca.org | | | 10-14-2010, 07:23 PM | #3 | That's not Millpoint Blue Join Date: Apr 2005 Location: BNA Posts: 3,161 | It has been painted, the original color was green. So, due to that and the Sport front bumper, I'd find out why it was painted because it possibly had some damage. __________________ Real men know how to SEARCH! Interior looks a bit haggard, mileage is fair and its a manual. Paint looks like its def not original. Engine bay seems to be black or green as roadrash pointed out. Depending on the price, Id say it could be a good buy. Find out why he painted though, if you look at it be sure to look at the fenders and doors they will have the vin# on them to see if they match the car....good luck. __________________ 1998'SportR.I.P. 1995 Sport AlpineIII Last edited by Mr. Crow; 10-14-2010 at 09:13 PM. | | | 10-14-2010, 11:13 PM | #7 | Senior Member Join Date: Apr 2008 Location: Bethlehem, PA Posts: 1,106 | yeah, for a 95 with 147 miles, anything over 3k is alot, so it better be in good shape. i am alittle scared of fixing up a 98 with 200k miles (motor only has 50k miles) full leather interior, as i do not think i will be able to get more then 4k for it. if you keep your eye on this site, you will see a few 95 - 98s sell for around or under 4k. also, you can get 96 318i with about the same miles and inside for like 1k or 2k around me. same car, different trunk. look for a 318ti with leather and upgraded cd and rims for around $3500 and you will come out good. also, since it was repainted, i would check the title, and make sure their is no accidents. you can get the vin, and put a mock up add on ebay. (just remove it right away) and it will give you a free car fax =] __________________ Check out our new website! https://soltechsolutionsllc.com/ Green Your Decor with the Aspect!
