Will do.
I am thinking of a 5 series wagon for this.
In the next couple weeks Ill make the call,
For now I am searching for a cheaper 5 series wagon.

Funny how things change when were not paying attention.
While I was looking for a 5 series wagon on the internet for this build,
I drove past a 65 Ford Falcon on the way home from work.
It is rust free, Running and driving just out of dry storage since 1990 and passed down to son from original owner, Only 46K miles,
Just about any engine will fit into this easy,
No emissions to worry about.
Parts are cheap.
AND only 2400 Lbs stock,
So since it runs and drive now I will put some antique tags on it and start finding about 500 HP of bits for this car,
Peter

You guys are killing me,
I still think 500 Hp from the 4.4 liter V8 would not be too hard, Just need a BIG turbo or two small ones which would be more dollars,
I still would rather a nice 5 series wagon to work with and will keep looking for one,
Ive always wanted a Falcon and this one I just could not pass up,
While I guy was asking $1500 when I went to look at it, I made him a cash offer of $800 right then and there IF we went to the tag place right then and there,
He tried for more, But I just kept walking away, I really was not going to spend more than the $800 I offered since I really didnt need another car as I have enough vehicles already and this would be a distraction, BUT at what I offered him I knew I could make a few dollars just by buying and having some fun.
Either way I look forward to putting new hoses and the like on the car and getting some drive time out of it before either making it PEPPY or passing it along to the next guy and me using the funds toward a 5 series wagon.
So which BMW engine can I get 500 HP from pretty easy?
AND
Just for fun, Since the Falcons engine runs like new since it only has 46K miles on it and has a 3.3 Inline 6. What would you do, Toss a 2.5 I6 and Getrag trans in there?

As anti-purist as this sounds, I think you should drop in an LSx based 4.8 or 5.3 truck motor with a 4L60e and slap on a massive turbo. Problem solved!
