I decided that I liked how it looks so will leave the stripes on for now. Actually, I'm not sure how they will stick long term to the rubber bumper guards. It you try this, be sure to clean the bumper guard with a mild solvent (I use mineral spirits) to get any wax off the guard before applying the stripe. For me the stripes dress up an otherwise plain base model bumper. Add fog lights, and you have a front end that looks almost as sporty as a sport model, IMO. Cheers. | | | 05-22-2011, 10:17 PM | #1354 | Senior Member Join Date: Nov 2010 Location: Potomac Falls VA DMV Posts: 1,794 | Pics please Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk __________________ Im guessing im the youngest member on here with a S52 power'ed Ti at 16 years old! | | | 05-22-2011, 10:22 PM | #1355 | Senior Member Join Date: May 2010 Location: Southwest England Posts: 379 | +1, pics innit! | | | 05-22-2011, 11:01 PM | #1356 | Senior Member Join Date: Apr 2010 Location: Roanoke, VA Posts: 472 | Installed a new stereo to go along with my new Sirrius Sat set up. Since i hate sitting idle, i picked up this rusty hasn;t ran in 2 years 95 cosmos/schwarts w/ all black interior for $350. It was an auto, I spent 3 hours at the ladys house and drove it home. I broke the oil pan trying to get the auto tranny off in order to bolt on my 5 spd getrag from the avus ti. I got tired of the rain and had to rig up a temporary shelter: finally got a somewhat halfassed workbench built. | | | 05-23-2011, 03:14 PM | #1359 | Senior Member Join Date: May 2010 Location: Southwest England Posts: 379 | The Sportex abomination has been replaced with a custom powerflow. Can feel there's less HP gain than the Sportex but the drone is gone, although it still sounds smooth and bassy. Cleaned me out of money though, won't even be able to fill up on petrol till next week... | | | 05-24-2011, 01:25 AM | #1360 | Senior Member Join Date: Sep 2007 Location: asdfasdf Posts: 10,002 | that's some pretty bad rot on those quarters, it must have been sitting on grass for a while | | | 05-24-2011, 01:32 AM | #1361 | Senior Member Join Date: Dec 2010 Location: Wichita Falls, Texas Posts: 1,364 | Quote: Originally Posted by vsonix +1, pics innit! | Guys, I would love to send pics, but I'm totally computer illiterate. Right under the message block where you reply to a post, there's a button that says "Go Advanced", click on that. Scroll down to "Additional Options" and you'll see a button that says "Manage Attachments", click it. Click on the "Browse" button to see the files on your computer. You'll need to know which folder your photos are in or, if you're loading them directly from your camera, you'll need to know which drive it calls itself. For instance, when I plug my camera in, it comes up as CASIO(J) or Memory Card(J). Depending on how may things you have hooked up to your computer it may be any other letter of the alphabet. Once you locate the file belonging to the photo that you want to upload, click on it to select it. Then click "upload". It takes a few seconds, then you could submit your message and the photo will appear as a thumbnail under your text. Another option is to upload photos to your photo gallery on this site. Here's a brief guide for that: http://www.318ti.org/forum/showpost....48&postcount=3 And finally the other way is to use a third party image hosting site such as PhotoBucket. You'll need to create a free account on that site. Then you'll upload photos on their site the same way you'd upload a photo as an attachment here. Once you have your photos uploaded on the image hosting site, you're going to need to retrieve the URL or IMG code. This is the long way to post pics via URL code: http://www.318ti.org/forum/showpost....stcount=264The shorter way would be to copy the IMG code instead, then paste it directly in your message block. Hope that helps. -Jess | | | 05-24-2011, 03:45 PM | #1363 | Junior Member Join Date: Sep 2005 Location: Scotland. Posts: 17 | Today, New headlights, the elipsoidy type ones, fresh new bulbs. New rear lights, the clear tops. A crappy exhaust trim, but it tidy's up the rear. New bonnet badge as the old one was a bit flaked. Installed stock fog lights. Next is paintwork. | | | 05-24-2011, 05:43 PM | #1364 | Senior Member Join Date: Nov 2010 Location: Potomac Falls VA DMV Posts: 1,794 | Nice!
