I like the body work on this car, but does any body know where somebody can buy it? The spoiler is sacrilege, but I like the fenders. http://www.irish-rallying.com/classi...=070207_113827 any info or anything would be cool. | | | 05-23-2007, 05:06 PM | #2 | Senior Member Join Date: Jan 2006 Location: lancashire, england Posts: 300 | you'd need the bumper aswell, unless you make yours wider. i think those front wings ming to high heaven! they're awful especially when they're painted with all that bumpy fibreglass. __________________ E36 3.0 M3 Cosmos Schwarz E36 1.8 318ti Cosmos Schwarz | | | 05-23-2007, 05:12 PM | #3 | Senior Member Join Date: Mar 2007 Location: Downtown Historic Fredericksburg, VA Posts: 339 | your local body shop will be able to do the most for you __________________ now when i hit that switch, I'M BOUNCIN. | | | 05-23-2007, 05:15 PM | #4 | Senior Member Join Date: Jan 2007 Location: Ireland Posts: 382 | Quote: Originally Posted by momorugger I'm looking to do an engine swap and need wider tires to deal w/ the power, and that means body work. J!m always says that he shreds his tires with 240 horsepower. The widest rear tire I’ve run on my ti (with fenders rolled) was a 255/35-18. The tire was mounted on a SSR-GT3 wheel measuring 18x9.5 et 43. __________________ | | | 05-23-2007, 09:26 PM | #7 | Senior Member Join Date: Dec 2004 Location: SoCal Posts: 549 | __________________ 318Ti Sport (Gone, but thanks for your years of service) | M3 E30 | 190E-16V | M Coupe E36/8 | | | 05-23-2007, 09:39 PM | #8 | Senior Member Join Date: Jan 2005 Location: Vancouver, B.C. It generates 321 hp to the flywheel. The standard S50 is 240 US/286 Euro. About wider tires: they only help because of the sidewalls, not apply the force better. Think about simplistic physics: Ff=u*Fn. The Normal force is constant, so as long as the compound is the same (u), the tires will give the same amount of friction down on the road. Maybe negligible amounts of extra grip will be seen, but as long as the sidewalls are the same height, it shouldn't matter much. | | | 05-24-2007, 11:42 AM | #14 | Senior Member Join Date: Apr 2006 Location: dorchester Posts: 700 | Quote: Originally Posted by [url http://www.irish-rallying.com/classified.php?classified_id=070207_113827[/url] . | Ahhhh That advert makes me laugh everytime...£45000!!
