We love selling the harnesses but we can only sell them in batches so anyone interested in the next batch should work with the folks on this forum to organize the next group buy.

Do I need a harness for my M42 95 Ti? I would like this upgrade. Do I just buy the full kit on the website?

The hardware kit fits perfectly but the early model harness does not fit our late model cars at all. They only make the late model harness every once in a while, I am assuming it's a more difficult and expensive harness to make and is also harder to sell. If you feel comfortable with the wiring and have access to the parts needed on that level I say go for it. There are a couple of tutorials of the wiring on the net when you Google it. I'll admit that I did not get it figured out, I only spent a little while on it but it was still frustrating. I was crazy happy to get the harness when it became available to say the least, the whole process took a matter of minutes to install.

Its pretty amazing isnt it.
#1 that its so easy to install. Like it was made to be there.
#2 that Hanz & Franz didnt see fit to do it initially when it was so easy.

It probably would have cost BMW less to do it with COP,,,, since all the other cars on the line at that time were using the same coils.
Instead they saw fit to make a one off coil pack for the M44 and go back to wires for the M44. Why? Dumb.

After the E30,,, I think all the smart engineers quit.

If I read their website correctly, the M42 harness is produced all the time.
You can buy that one anytime without a Group buy.

The early model M42 engines (all E30 and up through 92 E36) don't require a harness at all. All others either require a PnP harness, or buying connectors from another E36 and modifying the existing harness. Depending on your comfort level with making those changes you need to pick the right solution.

All that being said, I miss-counted the number of harnesses we shipped and I have one more E36 M42/M44 harness available. The complete kit is $400 via Paypal including US Shipping. PM or e-mail for payment arrangements.

After double-checking, this is the final kit until you guys can get another group buy together.

Breticus -- It's understandable if you don't have the funding now.

Please note that we can not guaranty the next group buy is the same price as the last one.

If anyone else is interested in this last M44 harness and COP kit in inventory today, now is the time to act.

Is 400 still cheaper than an OEM replacement?
