What happened to your Scirocco? I really miss mine. I might buy another scirocco or a corrado sometime soon.

I have to say the 318ti has been my favorite car, will never get rid of it. Other cars I have owned have had more power but don't come close to the balance of the ti. The ti reminds me alot of the Opel Manta's I have owned, rear wheel drive, light weight, and great handling. And the Opel ruled SCCA showroom stock (when this class was created) in the early 70's. I waited a long time to afford a BMW, and will always own at least one.

I still have the 1988 16V Scirocco. In fact, I am currently selling off on Eaby all of my excess parts. The next step is to auction off the car. Love the car, still in the driveway. Here are a few pics of it now.

I just realized, we made the same upgrade, one decade newer.

Me: 1988 VW Scirocco to 1998 318ti
You: 1987 VW Scirocco to 1997 318ti.

I actually wanted the 1999 318ti. Something about having the last year is cool. My Scirocco, had every option there was and was last year for USA
