What did you gain by this? I never sold anything to you. So why would you stick your nose in someone else's business and hate on a guy who came up with an original idea, offering something completely new and unique to the community that otherwise would have never have been available. Good thing I only have 4 sets left. I'm keeping two for myself and selling the other two on ebay.
Tell you what, go out and spend 50 bucks for a set of beat up caps, then buy a bench grinder, a stitched buffing wheel, a loose leaf buffing wheel, multiple bars of black buffing compound, multiple bars of red tripoli buffing compound, a jar of Mothers polish, a pack of steel wool, a can of goof off, a bag of shop towels and a bunch of microfiber cloths. Then make yourself a glue scraper, spend about an hour cleaning, scraping, polishing, buffing, packaging as well as time and gas making multiple trips to the post office, answering dozens of BS repetitious questions, responding to hundreds of PM's, dealing with countless flakes and lowballers. Then ask yourself if it's worth a hundred bucks.
I wasn't ripping anyone off. A lot of work went into those caps, not to mention I took a loss on several caps that were dented and unsellable. My time has to be worth something right? If someone was to do this themselves, they'd end up spending about what I was selling them for provided they had the tools and ability.
As for me, I sold A LOT of caps. Made a couple grand and everyone that bought a set was very pleased. There's plenty more ideas where that one came from, I guess it's time to move on to something better. Let the haters hate and the hustlers hustle
