I’ve ordered a kit from Hyde, and I can absolutetly recommend anyone who’s considering jumping the fence to go for it. This guy has to be the most helpful and service minded seller ive ever bought from!! BIG thumbs up to him! Go get your kits guys

Yup, I'm in. Juat waiting for the kit to go up on Hyde Motor Works page, or @MisterM52 to need another prototype Guinea pig.

Hello everyone, hope you are all doing well. Apologies for those waiting, its my final month here in NZ before I return back to Germany in December.

Supported Superchargers:

So the Superchargers to look for are AMR500, SC14 (both types will work) the Eaton M45 from the Mercedes & Mini IIRC...the Eaton M62 from the Mercedes as well as the Eaton M90 from the Jaguar. the GM 3800 M90 wont really work as its too big, the M90 is also a retro fit. the Setup has recently been tested on a M40 in Australia so that motor is also retrofit supported. Those looking to surpass the DASC Kit will have to look at the SC14 or M90. Basically Small body Eatons will work fine.

There is of course a black project that hasn't been released. That allows the mounting a 2.8L supercharger to their 1.8L engine.

there has been some installation videos:

Currently all the prototype kits have been sold out, One kit is going to Marius in Norway who has recent troubles with his car, hes a very patient fellow, due to my move and me living in a small town, the mail is collected rarely and there has been some delays in shipping, all who did order the prototypes will have them before Xmas.

We are entering full production of the SC14 and AMR500 Setups in December and January and will be available from the HMW Site. We can take preorders for them next month. Small discount for forum members.

I will need a few Eaton Prototype testers in the future as well.

Thank you for all your support! I am grabbing my second Ti in Germany next year, they are really fun cars to drive, specially with the Z rack, I prefer the fee to them over the regular E36.

The AMR500 will be enough for most people, a good 5PSI really. There should be some more installations soon as the orders sent out reach the clients doors.

Meanwhile the finished product wont be anything radically different from the prototypes, we will release them early next year.

Finished product i mean, to see a final install with the airbox, all the piping and everything. How will the engine bay look.
And one final question, what will be the price for the AMR500 kit?
Thank you.

Red face

If anybody is looking for an AMR 500 kit, Then I think mariusrisan may be looking to sell his one from Norway - So if anyone here is looking for one, you may want to buy it from him as he said his project has been delayed due to his car having a small accident. Really wish he would had done it.

Apart from that, thank you everyone, I am 3 days away from my return to Germany. I will come back here and post more on stuff once resettled and all during/after the holiday period and grab myself likely another Ti.

@ NukemBG - I think for that we will have to wait and see one of the few from here who should had a Kit by now to come and install.

@ Blindsparky - Sure thing, I will have some Eaton Prototypes built and you can have one long as you promise to do a build in time.

Mean while currently all AMR500 & SC14 prototypes have been sold and shipped out and anyone wanting to make orders can ofcourse make it but in either case must wait for the final products coming in a month or two.

Awesome! I'll definitely make it a priority to get it on the car and give you some feedback to how installation was, let me know when you have some prototypes ready to go

Getting my turbo build underway
Any ideas on the limits of the stock ECU? Going to be potentially seeing 20psi+ with this.

I know it's a thread for SUPERcharging (it's not a 318ti either ) but it's also the most active/current FI thread hence the question solely about the ECU and it's FI limits. The pictures are for attention/interest but to answer your question it's this big......
