And a chip is probably going to be one of the best poformance gains you will get from the M4X for that ammount of money. Exhausts and intakes just don't do much on these cars. | | | 02-04-2005, 03:45 PM | #11 | Member Join Date: Jan 2005 Location: washington Posts: 42 | Tms does have the chips for a 97 but not for a 318, only 6 cylinder model BMW's. __________________ 1997 BMW 318ti Cosmo Racing CAI Next Project: Exhaust... | | | 02-04-2005, 05:55 PM | #12 | Senior Member Join Date: Sep 2004 Location: Manassas, VA Posts: 4,129 | Too Much Confusion!!!!!!!!!! There seems to be alot of interest in these chip modifications. Unfortunately, too many people are throwing out names, without first getting the facts. Since we all own 318ti's between 1995-1999, only list vendors you are ABSOLUTELY SURE make a chip for our cars. Go to the sites of these companies and check it out BEFORE you throw the name out there. Secondly, the issue of whether it is even worth the money should be considered. A comparision of all or any companies that DO make one for our cars should be done. Then we can finally get to the bottom of this issue.
