Anyone know a good setup for a router to be used with xbox live? It's got 2 xbox's and a laptop on it. The router is a D-Link DGL-4100 gamer lounge.
I used port forwarding and went to d-link's website to get the proper setup for live but I still get lag when I play online. __________________

I'd test the xbox without any router first and make sure you get no lag through Comcast in the first place, then move to the router. __________________

I don't get any lag. I played the Beta for Call Of Duty World at War and didn't get any. Unless Infinity Ward updated their servers for it. __________________

http://www.dslreports.com/stest is what I've used in the past. The thing with Comcast is that throughput WILL depend on the network; I often get lag during PSU games on Saturday and Steelers games on Sundays. Is it a direct (wired) connection? __________________

The modem is hooked up to my DGL-4100, which is hooked up to 2 xbox's and a laptop. __________________
