95 318ti 196,000 miles heater and power steering probs

Hi all

I have a 1995, 318ti with a 196,000 miles on the clock and have started to develop this problem.
My heater in the car when it is on hot is blowing warmish air. I have checked for air locks etc and there is none and the water level has not gone down.
I have also noticed that my steering is heavy every know and then and this seems to have started around the same time.
Does anyone have any ideas?

Power steering level check and/or possible flush with new reservoir and bleed. When's the last time you flushed the coolant system and replaced the thetmostat?
