Default Windshield fluid

1996 base.

Windshield fluid is not making it to the glass. It sprays off the hood liner and makes a mess in the engine. Took a quick look last night and wasn't sure if there is a piece missing or something wasn't aligned right. I read a few semi-related posts about the pump, but not sure if that is my issue. I will check later if there is wax buidlup. If that's the case has anyone had problems with the flow after using a safety pin; better pin to use for that? Thanks, Eric

You could remove the nozzles and let them soak in CLR for a few hours. I've heard of people using a safety pin as well.
