Wow I have just been looking around the site and I read into this build and its amazing Johnboy! I am in the middle of one myself and you said the oil pump had to be run on e36 m42/m44 engines, is there anyway to get around this or will I just have to break down and I buy one?

You can run the stock M4x pump. I run a V8 pump that is machined to fit my setup. No big deal your pump should be fine...

Lol I meant to say that about the turbo oil drain. You said a oil pump had to be run with the bottom mount turbo? Is there any way around this or will I just have to buy one?...

Thanks

I don't run one anymore. Mine only lasted 500 miles then broke and caused all kind of issues. I removed it and run a straight line fromt he turbo into the top of the oil pan with a slight down angle. No issues for 24,500 miles...

Don't use one it's just another thing to break and leave you stranded...

Red circle is where I tapped mine. I would go higher if you can so the dump is not in oil when the pan is full.

Hated my ms-II and sold it. I run the stock DME with modifed code so I have full BMW function. It is the best running code I've run and I've been turbo for 2 years. Barrie at Mid-Night Tuning did my code.

Yes I'm in Gulfport, FL. Been here 11 years. My free install is going in the car the last week of January for the winner on 318ti (yoda). I have no problem helping you or doing the install but I will not be offering free installs moving forward. I will allow anyone to use my tools, cherry picker and driveway for free and questions or guidance is always free. I have everything for a install as far as tools go but you will owrk on your back if under the car at my house (No Car Lift)

What I'm saying is I don't want to install more turbos for free, I'm in real estate for a living.

Also what kind of turbo kit and what is missing? What type of manifold?

Thanks, John S
