Default 290,000 kms

recently purchased a 96 318ti

runs pretty flawlessly, but has a **** load of kms

But im wondering what I could do to clean it out/ make sure its in top running order?

sorry if theres already a bunch of threads

There are tons of threads on maintance. Cooling system is a big thing on these cars. Bushings in rear, motor mounts, door panels. Make sure the cooling fan is working the relay seems to go out pretty often. When I did my cooling system updates I found the injectors to be pretty nasty and cleaned them so if you do update the cooling system you could clean them off or maybe have a shop run some injector cleaner though it. It's all going to depend on what's been done to the car already may times high miles cars have tons of wear on everything from the seats to the struts to the brakes, but sometimes the owners have allready had to make these repairs.
