Don't feel bad, the car is totaled, has a bent chassis and who knows what else. Look at the driver side chassis, pointing east.

So, how much money is he asking for the car? I would think it's worth at least $750.00 in its current state. Am I close?

Well, I have no doubt in my mind that he will get every penny of that $2K asking price. Sounds like my $750.00 estimate just got harpooned.
Not to jack this thread...but, the car in my signature pic just went on the market!
$12K (FIRM)
Maybe we can both find an idiot on here to fork over a ton of scratch for our turds.

Guys come on let's keep it in line with the for sale thread. I can see these comments get taken the wrong way.

And it does say OBO.

We understand and never have negative things, just facts. We all wish your son the best with the car sale and hope it goes to a future .org member.

cheers

Earlier this year I sold my Dakar (337) yellow MCoupe to a good home in SoCal, but I still miss the yellow. Now getting used to Boston Green, but I didn't have any fading issues with the 2000 MCoupe. Hopefully the green is less eye-catching when I'm zipping down the road. Had the car ~10 days, only stopped once, but just a verbal for 80. Not bad...maybe the green makes me look more serious.
