Default 1996 M44 90k miles, vibration problem

I've found similar posts, but no real resolution. Here goes my try:

Bought a '96 Cali Edition in August, with an M44 and a bad vibration at idle, warm and cold. Idle speed is good and steady.

-Vacuum hoses were replaced in 2008 by previous owner, likely to address rough idle/running vibration

-I've replaced engine mounts and transmission mounts, and I've seen a vast improvement.

-Replaced muffler to address a rattle (old car, low miles = bad muffler)

-Replaced stuck thermostat

-ICV was clean, no red flags

-Replaced ping sensors and Camshaft Position Sensor (likely a previous owner ran 87 octane), now I get no CEL

-Guibo looks okay, and vibration present in and out of gear (automatic transmission)

My potential next steps/issues to address:

-Oil in spark plug well for second cylinder (plugs all clean and dry, though)

-Rattle sound from DISA. What effect might DISA have on idle?

-Intermittent sound from front of engine, belt train. Perhaps a tensioner is worn out? Idle pulley?

-The muffler man suggested 02 sensor issues, of course (side note: Bosal exhaust from Rock Auto did not seat well, needed to cut/grind down tubing. Not fun, and cause for my only ever trip to a mechanic/auto repair specialist.)

This is the sort of vibration that, when you place your hand on the upper intake manifold, you hands get blurry. Does that make sense? Acceleration smooths it out, but only above 2000 RPM.

Does the vibration symptom sound familiar to anyone, and do any one of my next steps seem well guided?

Thanks for your help!

Default Audio Clip

I've recorded a quality audio clip of the strange rattle. Can anyone advise me where to post the clip so people can hear it?
