I have 2 small drips of oil under my car. I cleaned everything up. Put a piece of cardboard under the car and will inspect again. My concerns are in shot 1 there was some oil along what looks to be the casting. Shot 2 there are 2 places where they look like bolts would go. I'm not seeing any oil there. I am finding some oil near the left tie rod boot. Can't tell where it's coming from. __________________ ...steven BMW CCA #146825 1996 BMW 328ti • 2003 MINI Cooper S • 2016 M235i www.bmwcca.org | | | 04-16-2013, 04:01 AM | #2 | Senior Member Join Date: Jun 2003 Location: Greenville, SC Posts: 9,356 | I cleaned up everything real well. Ran the car about 10 minutes and I can see some seepage above the arrow in shot 1. Bolts are tight. I don't now if the tech used any sealant when he changed the gasket on the pan. __________________ ...steven BMW CCA #146825 1996 BMW 328ti • 2003 MINI Cooper S • 2016 M235i www.bmwcca.org | | | | Currently Active Users Viewing This Thread: 1 (0 members and 1 guests) | | Posting Rules | You may not post new threads You may not post replies You may not post attachments You may not edit your posts HTML code is Off | | | |
