Those three things are whats required to start the car. You didn't mess with the ignition cylinder/antenna or the antenna module did you? Just the white EWS module, key transponder(chip) and ECU correct? I'd start checking the starter wiring. | | | 09-23-2009, 07:19 PM | #152 | Senior Member Join Date: Aug 2008 Location: Raleigh/Charlotte, NC Posts: 1,233 | Check your battery, all your grounds. Make sure fuel pump is turning on when you turn key to run position (ECU controls this) __________________ -Jeff | | | 09-23-2009, 07:45 PM | #153 | NOBODY F's with the Jesus Join Date: Oct 2006 Location: Ventura California Posts: 7,824 | Quote: Originally Posted by Xenocide Check your battery, all your grounds. How can I be certain that I did that correctly? | | | 09-23-2009, 08:36 PM | #156 | Senior Member Join Date: May 2005 Location: Seattle Posts: 181 | It's glue and a cushion | | | 09-23-2009, 09:03 PM | #157 | Moderator Join Date: Mar 2007 Location: Maryland Posts: 3,220 | thanks (bonks on head) | | | 09-23-2009, 09:06 PM | #158 | Moderator Join Date: Mar 2007 Location: Maryland Posts: 3,220 | alright I'm checking the power wires grounds, and looking for diagrams, but I can hardly read any of them. Is the brown wire the only ground? And the red ones power wires? or wha | | | 09-23-2009, 09:23 PM | #159 | Senior Member Join Date: Aug 2008 Location: Raleigh/Charlotte, NC Posts: 1,233 | don't look at the book, just inspect engine, should have a ground wire on the engine harness and one on the chassis to engine. Two power wires on engine harness as well. __________________ -Jeff | | | 09-24-2009, 12:28 AM | #160 | Moderator Join Date: Mar 2007 Location: Maryland Posts: 3,220 | still no crank. | | | 09-24-2009, 02:03 AM | #161 | Moderator Join Date: Mar 2007 Location: Maryland Posts: 3,220 | good news we tried to pop the clutch method and the car cranked over but off, I'm going check the plugs, and test the starter tomorrow | | | 09-24-2009, 06:42 PM | #162 | Moderator Join Date: Mar 2007 Location: Maryland Posts: 3,220 | Well I ran OBDII scanner, read these: P1250 - MANUFACTR.
