Start it, drive it. __________________ '99 Dinan M3 | | | 12-16-2005, 02:01 AM | #7 | TRETEN IRGENDEINES ESELS Join Date: Aug 2004 Location: Rhode Island Posts: 3,687 | I've been warming it up about 5 minutes if that right now, only cause it's 5 degrees outside when i leave in the morning. The transmission will still be cold anyway. You really should take it easy until the oil temp is at operating temperture. Since we don't have a gauge I try to keep the revs below 3000 until the water temp is normal. __________________ ...steven BMW CCA #146825 1996 BMW 328ti • 2003 MINI Cooper S • 2016 M235i www.bmwcca.org | | | 12-16-2005, 02:19 AM | #9 | Senior Member Join Date: May 2005 Location: Malden, MA Posts: 672 | I always warm mine up about 15-20 minutes with the remote start.
