Default Wife over heated the car until it died!

The wife has driven the 318 ti down the freeway while it was over heating until it died! Just tried to start it and it turns over but slow slow and wont start. I came back to find her with a new car and the bmw in the back yard dead... Bummer loved the car.
What should I do with it since I'm sure it now has a blown motor? I only have a few weeks until I go back to our other home in Thailand and I want to get rid of it before I go. The car is in gret condition and had no problems until this. What do you guys think it's worth at this point? Any sugggestions?
Thanks

any more info on the car? year, option package, mileage (mostly for the body, not the engine) pics would also help, you'll want to get as much money as possible for it so you can afford to pay the divorce lawyer

(I'm kidding)

((sorta))

He maybe joking, but I'd seriously do it. She's bound to ruin your next car. I'd just prevent it now by doing whats right. Burn her drivers license.

Default Some ideas

Similar story, my friends daughter started her 3 series to warm it up in front of house, went inside. Something happened to the electrically heated thermostat, stuck closed (?) burst the coolant resovoir, over heated bad. He read about 10 engine codes, and checked each cylinder compression (good). Good thing he used synthetic oil!
Fixed the coolant tank and thermostat.
Working from the engine codes, replaced Oxygen sensors, 2 coil packs bad but replaced all 6, plugs and wires, a couple of oil changes with sea foam.
It's back on the road. After the coolant tank and thermostat replaced, the car did run but with numerous cylinder misfire codes.
He said it runs better now with the new plugs, coils, and wires.

Sorry to hear it highonthai.

That is a nice looking car.

Put it on Craigslist for $2500-$3000.
