Default I've come a long way, guys!

Now these are what I call rims. Not the so called "mesh" crap. They remind me to much of steelies. But if they are the right color, I make exceptions from time to time. Slim 5 spokes are sexy!

$2,300 rims, found them for $700 on CL. Talked the guy down to $480 Perfect condition too!

Now onto pics:

The only part that's chrome is the lip. Nothing else is chrome. It's all silver. And even the lip is not completely chrome. It's more closer to silver chrome. You can't see a reflection.

PS: The guy I purchased it from is also selling mint condition silver contours 17" with profile tires. Not sure about the price. Make an offer.

those look great tire sidewall looks a little too big, I would have gone with 40 series tires, but still, it changes the entire look of the car

Oh yea, I'm definitely going to go smaller. I had to buy temporary tires for 2 of them, since of them had a nail in it, and the other had no tread in the middle. Though, I'm having a hard time finding a place that will align my car. Since it's not the stock height, and I have different wheels, the factory specs will not work.

Well Joey, you've finally done it... I have to admit that I actually like your car now, lol. Yes, you've come a long way. Nice work, and that spoiler doesn't look "out of place" at all now. Congrats, keep it up!

Good buy... a bit too chromey for my taste, but they remind me of HAMANN wheels... First thing is to get BMW centers on them if they fit... and the alignment shouldn't be factory spec.... they should attach those laser things on the wheels and do it from there..., the other thing is that if you went really low you might have to get adjustable camber for the rear and the front, plus if your suspension is fairly new I would let it sit like that for at least 3 months for it to settle.

BTW get rid of those decals.... except for the .ORG, the others need to go...

I'm keeping the stamford center caps. They look cool. I just need to clean them up. They haven't been cleaned since I've purchased them.

DUDE!....
people rocking REAL BBS wheels on their BMW's have BMW CENTER CAPS on them.... Keep in mind you're not driving a "ricer", besides if STAMFORD is a prime rim you wouldn't want to announce that it is... unless you want to find your car on the floor one day!...

NICE! Good job Joey the drop looks good, the rims would look better if they were darker. Or it might just be the angle of the pictures. Overall great improvement.

World of difference from the last time I really looked at pics of your car, MUCH BETTER! Damn nice rims. Black/gunmetal is more my taste, but they look great.

Can't wait for pics when you get the new headlights, and take those stickers off the mirrors. Good job switching corners back, the stockers look much better.

Common man, lets not get literate. My headlights are chrome, and you can see your face in it. You can't see your face that well on my lips.
If you don't like the rims, just say the word, and I'll go back to steelies WITHOUT the hub caps. I know how much you love em.

I have no problems with people running steelies. You posted pictures on a public forum, you will get positive and negative comments, sorry. Not everyone will agree with your choices. It's not the end of the world.
