Check Engine: No Fault Code

I tried searching around for this but to no avail... My check engine light is on and I checked the fault codes with my Peake R5-FCX (first gen) and it came up "--" ie no codes. Anyone have any suggestions?

Do a clear code or do the 5 pump gas pedal dance to trigger the check engine light flashing thing.

thanks, i tried the clear code but the light was still there. What exactly is the five pump gas pedal dance...other than the obvious

well i think i solved the problem. I let the car sit for a while and when I started it up again the light was out. thanks fellas

also can't wait for the decals. I've been meaning to re-support the site and i've wanted the decals since they came out but never got around to it. Then I finally saw the paypal thing at the bottom and went to town.
