you could probably wire the front grill one from the parking lights just like AE would be wired.. or a new switch like u say on the left of the Steering wheel there is a diagram on the knowledge base section about wiring fog lights im pretty sure is not much different

Firefighter or not, it would be highly illegal and if anyone see's you driving with them on and/or disobeying traffic signals and rules, they will report you. Furthermore, if you get into an accident and it is found that you were using your POV to respond to an emergency, you will automatically be placed at fault and more than likely be arrested on site. Emergency vehicles are clearly outlined by the department of transportation and are required to conform to strict maintenance and modification guidelines. Think about it, you're not even allowed to plug a tire on an emergency vehicle, there's no way they're going to let you use your personal vehicle to respond to emergencies. Would you yield to a 15 year old BMW hatchback flashing code lights? If I'm not mistaken, blue lights are reserved exclusively for law enforcement vehicles anyway.

^^^ What Jess said...

I've even heard of people getting rolled for having those small blue "dots" that some lowriders and vintage 40's and 50's cars put in the rear tail lenses to give a 'purple-ish' hue to the tail lamp color.

I know in New York they use red lights for police, blue lights for everything else, New Jersey's probably be the same. Also, he's probably a volunteer firefighter, they use their personal vehicles with lights and sirens when they need to get to the station since they don't just stay at the station all day.

I'd stick them in the grills and maybe do some strobes inside the unused section of the taillight, keeps them nice and hidden until their needed
