The best I could find for the money in that catagory. __________________ | | | 10-20-2008, 03:16 PM | #5 | Member Join Date: Oct 2008 Location: Crieff,Scotland(near Stirling) ,UK Posts: 43 | ok cheers lads will have a look at them all and decide what i like best. | | | 10-20-2008, 06:00 PM | #6 | Senior Member Join Date: Jun 2003 Location: Saint Paul, MN Posts: 3,244 | I have a SuperSprint which may be still available in Europe/UK. Back in the day there was a quantitative test done of +/- 8 models and SS was the quietest and gave the most HP increase believe it or not. However, the one I have on now has around 40k miles (well worn in) and I think it's hard to hear my daughter sometimes. I suppose the best would be to insulate for sound beneath the carpet or just get a new stainless tip for $20! __________________ My Former Rides 1999 318ti Alpine White, Cali Roof, Dinan goodies 1996 318ti Hellrot California Edition | | | 10-20-2008, 06:26 PM | #7 | Senior Member Join Date: Aug 2004 Location: state college, pa Posts: 3,431 | Quote: Originally Posted by Grimesy89 looking for a new exhaust for my 98 ti sport to get rid of the "pea-shooter" look. only thing is got a baby on the way so dont want anything loud. any suggestions for something that looks good but reasonably quiet? | If you're just trying to change the look, maybe look at an exhaust tip. There should be a thread here so you can find pictures. __________________ I scream, you scream, we all scream for ZOMBIES. | | | 10-25-2008, 11:23 PM | #8 | Junior Member Join Date: Oct 2008 Location: Westport, CT Posts: 2 | Do any of you have the old exhaust you took out of your cars?
