Club sports & M44s pref. To those of you who have replaced your oxygen sensor(s), what did the connector look like on the wires? I recently ordered a Bosch O2 sensor for a manual 95 ti, and the connector isn't even close to fitting. My car has a large diameter twist-lock type connector, and this one just has a little plug. They're both 4-wire, but the pins won't fit together. I'm wondering if my car has the M44 style sensor (which I can't find a picture of), since it was made in 9/95. Can someone with a Club Sport or a 96+ ti with the M44 help me out? It doesn't lock by twisting. SL Quote: Originally Posted by ClubSport To those of you who have replaced your oxygen sensor(s), what did the connector look like on the wires? It seems to be down right now. That's probably the one they gave me, because it doesn't fit. I have a large locking ring you have to twist. Thanks, anyone else? | | | 11-01-2004, 12:02 PM | #4 | Senior Member Join Date: Jun 2003 Location: Toronto Posts: 148 | It's under Exhaust->Cat. This looks like the same as in the ETK picture, although the image in that diagram is very small. Does this look familiar to anyone? I'm beginning to think it's a screwup on AutoZone's behalf. | | | 11-02-2004, 10:39 PM | #7 | Senior Member Join Date: Jan 2004 Location: Fort Collins, CO Posts: 290 | Thanks guys, I found one at a local independent: $120. | | | 11-03-2004, 12:14 AM | #8 | Member Join Date: Aug 2004 Location: Santa Clara Posts: 97 | the best way is to ask the $tealer for part numbers OR go to www.bavauto.com, to find the right part for your specific car model. I have a '97 Active and I just replaced both o2 sensors, bought from bavauto. and everything plugged right in. One thing, everyone recommended the tool, but I could not use it, instead I used the monkey wrench an it worked great for leverage, both to losen and tighten the sensor. The only thing you have to do is to be careful not to slip. just my .02 cents! Cheers !!!!! __________________ ***SOLD***The Ultimate Dying Machine!!!
