Default interior swap

i know this would be really hard, but will the M3 dash and console swap into the ti? has anybody done this?

my friend do that to him '95 325 but i dont know if it fit on ti, he swap all interiors to him car, look super cool, is all black

I was told by my mechanic that it could be done, but the amount of wiring that would need to be done is mind boggling. I dont know just how much of that is true, but i do know that when i took apart the interrior of an E36 M3 there was TONS of wires, so I gave up on the swapping the interriors. I'm sure if you have a lot of time, and are good at wiring you oculd do it yourself.
