Default Putting fog lights in a car without fog lights

I was wondering if I put the stock fog lights (or the round aftermarket ones on Fee-Bay made for the e-36's) on my '96ti is there wiring there for the fogs if the car came without fog lights? I have the stock fog light covers on the bumper now.
I can get the dash switch from a wrecking yard, I guess. But do I have to do all the wiring too? I know some vehicles come with all the wiring, but without certain options....
Anyone have a clue?

Well, does someone make a kit to put them in? Have you seen the really kewl ones on Feebay that are shaped like the opening for the stock fogs, but have a round lens in the center?

That's what I think I'll get, and just wire it my self.

there are universal wiring kits for fog lights, it would be easier to install and cheaper than the factory harness, I don't have much more info on it since I've never really looked into installing fog lights on my own car though

My 97 was not pre wired. It was a challenge to run the harness and wires around the car and under the dash. You have to access the power distribution box and install a relay and its related wiring. Then continue through the firewall and under the dash. You have to remove the steering wheel (Airbag removal) to get the instrument cluster out so you can install the wiring into the connector and add the fog light advisory light and the light switch. The BMW kit comes with all the parts you need, just plug and play.. well sought of. If you are not mechanically and electrically inclined DO NOT attempt it. It took me about 6 to 8 hours to install. I took my time but it was a first time installation and last time I will do it.
