Just picked up my first BMW, an Alpineweiss 96 318ti Sport, coming from a history of mostly Japanese cars. Picked it up as a project as it has a cranking, but no start condition and other issues with it. Was lurking on here for awhile researching the issues before making the purchase. Hopefully it wont be a bad decision, lol. I've always liked the shape of the ti, so I'm gonna try and revive, and enjoy it. Thanks everyone! | | | 10-12-2018, 10:10 PM | #2 | Junior Member Join Date: Mar 2018 Location: New England Posts: 20 | - Welcome!

Couldn't stand rusted out cars so moved out West. (not to mention the weather) Good luck! | | | 10-15-2018, 03:18 PM | #6 | Senior Member Join Date: Jul 2012 Location: Dodging potholes in SoCal Posts: 454 | Quote: Originally Posted by burner505 FunElan, thanks for the offer! Enjoyed my ti for years and glad you chose it instead of continuing with Japanese cars. I think you’ll find German cars make better sounds and can do donuts unlike a Integra or prelude.
