5,595???
dude, seriously, it has a salvage title, and you can tell just by looking at the left front that there is too much gap between the hood and headlight. Have you checked what these are going for??? You can get an M3 for a couple thousand more. You will never get almost 6,000 for a 318ti w/auto and salvage title. Book value WITHOUT the salvage title isn't even that high.

Thanks for being a "I KNOW IT ALL" kinda guy. While it seems you have a good eye, you are not very good at predicting what BMW's will bring. If you will look at the auction it was closed on the second day because someone purchased the car. Now, while you are sitting on the couch this weekend measuring gaps in hoods, I will be bee-boping around Myrtle Beach in my 2006M3 with 6k large in my pocket.

Good Luck next time!

You have to keep one thing in mind. If you put a price on it someone ... in time will eventually buy it. (basic economics) Good luck with the sale, just got my 95 ti back on the road.

$5,600 on a salvaged title? I think that's amazing.
I guess the mileage is what sold it.

Edit: So was this sold as a private sale?

It was a very nice ti. I have owned two ti's in my life and would have kept this one except it was an automatic. I bought the ti at a insurance auction and was amazed it was totaled at the minor damage it had. I spent $1,300 for the car, and $1,600 on parts and repairing the ti. I also talked to the previous owner who verified the mileage. The ti was purchased for a son's first car and we all know that he will be a lifetime BMW lover.

Aw what, only an 06 m3? rich but can't afford a new one?
The point is, it has a salvage title. That price is insane, and the person who bought it for that price is an idiot.
And oh yeah, does the m3 have a salvage title too?
