Default Where Can I Get This Door Window Trim Piece???

I've searched this forum, Googled, and looked for it online (PelicanParts, etc.), but I can't figure out what this part is called and, more importantly, where to buy it. See photo.

Both the driver and passenger side are broken.

Thanks!

Greg

find the part#'s on realoem.com, buy the part from pelicanparts.com or getbmwparts.com

Edit; Looks like Steven beat me to it. Getbmwparts(Tischer BMW) sells them cheaper than pelicanparts. I need to order a set myself. The part numbers are 51218198053(left) 51218198054(right) $26.83ea.

I have seen that diagram somewhere before, but I didn't think that #4 was the right part. It seems to have a different shape, but the name sounded right ... "outer weatherstrip".

Should I ignore the fact that it seems to be the wrong shape? I'd hate to spend $30 on the wrong part, but I may not have a choice.

Thanks!

The diagram is off of realoem.com. You can find any BMW part# on that site. I'm fairly certain that #4 in the diagram is the correct part. I just removed my weatherstrip to verify that it is in fact the correct part. It's a fairly common problem on these models. If you scroll down to the bottom of the link that Steven posted, you'll see that #4 is the only logical description for that particular part. I'm gonna go ahead and order both sides, even though my driver's side is the only one that's torn.

I think Jess is right. They seem to tear there frequently.

OK, great! I looked and I don't see a logical alternative either. I think I'll order a left and a right and hope for the best. I'm going to disassemble the doors anyway to replace the cracked external door handle seals. If it's the wrong part, oh well. It probably needs replacing, too!

Thanks all the input'

I ordered them from BMW a month ago and the part numbers cooljess lists are correct.

You may need a rubber hammer to get them to seat into the door properly.

Gently tap them down.

Also, be sure the little rubber hook end is hooked under the handle side of the door before pressing the adhesive strip down.

Thanks for the help everybody! That was the right part and it was very easy to replace ... less than 10 minutes to do both sides ... no tools needed!
