Instead of playing the guessing game and sending people on a wild goose chase trying to decode your vin for you, why not just post a pic of the car already? These threads wouldn't be this long if people knew what model and options their cars had. You have people asking for parts and they don't even know what you have. All we know is it's a somewhat rare shade of red. Throw us a bone here.

Found engine fir great price. Will not part out car now. Sorry and thanks to all those who inquired. I'm sure you understand why I'm keeping the car now.

Glad you decided to keep her, it sucks seeing ti's bite the dust. I must admit, the only reason I've shown any interest in this thread was to see what Sierrarot looked like. I really didn't want to see you part it out. I'm sure I'm not the only one and since you wouldn't post pictures, here's what I found via google:

i hate you jess you had to post a pic of an e36 touring? i swear if i had the funds to import one id be mobbing one right now. i dont know why i like them i just find them unusually amazing.

so Sierrarot is lighter than Calypso? Was it a normal colour or an individual? (could be a very rare Ti then)
