Can anyone recommend a good BMW wrench?
My daughter is down there with a 99 318ti. It has thrown a P1174 code and failed the Kahlifornia Smog Check.

sry, i only know places in the Orange County and LA county area. Have you asked on bimmerforums yet? there are more ppl in San Diego on there i think __________________

A buddy of mine down there used to swear by La Jolla Independent BMW. http://www.bimmerdoc.com/ I don't think they're cheap, but good work rarely is. I think P1174 code has something to do with the MAF sensor... hopefully it just needs cleaning- replacing it is not easy on the pocket book. Good luck!
