I had to replace my rear shocks yesterday as one was leaking all over the place. Went to pull out the cd player and frame and the top right allen bolt started freewheeling and wouldn't come out. Tried drilling the head off and eventually resorted to going left to right with vise grips until the bolt and receiving end ripped out of the sheet metal. So, got the shocks replaced, put the wheels back on, and cranked it up. Immediately the fuel gage went to empty and the idiot light came on and the temp gage went to Boiling, all the way to the right. This is with a full tank and it's cold. I have checked every wire in the back and can't find anything pinched, sliced, or separated. Anybody have any idea what the problem is? | | | 04-15-2010, 11:01 PM | #2 | Senior Member Join Date: Jun 2009 Location: Miami, FL Posts: 874 | well this happened to me last night and it was a fuse was burned... i replaced it and bamm it works | | | 04-15-2010, 11:15 PM | #3 | Senior Member Join Date: Jun 2003 Location: Greenville, SC Posts: 9,356 | Quote: Originally Posted by trikzta well this happened to me last night and it was a fuse was burned... i replaced it and bamm it works | Same here.
