FS: '95 318ti in San Diego 1995 BMW 318 ti $3000 white, 5-speed, electric sunroof, cruise control, power everything (windows, steering, brakes, etc), air-conditioning, rear window defrost and wiper, keyless entry with alarm, computer Just passed California emission test. 173K miles, no smoke, good compression I bought the car about 3 years ago with 140K miles on it. It was used as my daily driver (90 miles a day), 32mpg, until I recently retired. I paid $5K for it, and immediately put in > $4K. Brakes, rotors, Bilsteins, lower A-arms, water pump and all engine cooling stuff, new Kenwood CD player with USB port in face for my iPod. Car had recently had the right front fender replaced, and I added the left and right inside fender skirts. Also had factory fog lights installed. Whatever it needed it was replaced, belts, hoses, fluids, battery, wipers, etc. Recently replaced the driver door lock, rear hatch torsion bars, clutch, and tires (BF Goodrich G-Force). All work done by La Jolla Independent BMW, as they also service and rebuilt my ‘72 BMW 2002. Very fun to drive, the suspension is super and the new clutch very smooth. Never been smoked in. The bad: The air-conditioned leaks freon and the pulley squeaks a bit. The ABS is not functioning. It drips a bit of oil. The interior is worn as you can see. The leather is faded and has some tears. The headliner needs to be glued in a couple of places. Wheels do have curb rash. A few small dings in the body, but not many. Last edited by gkw2002; 05-23-2011 at 01:42 AM. Reason: reduced price |
