Default Acid etching removal?

As the warmer weather rolls around I intend to address a number of cosmetic issues on the exterior of the car.

One noticeable issue is that there is spotting all over my car from acid rain. (I only assume its from acid rain.

This is both visible on the glass windows, and on the paint of the car.

What methods would everybody reccomend to help remove the etching from my car's paint and glass?
