Default power steering pump

hi guys i'm finally staring my swap, and wanted to get a few info on some stuff. I wanted to know if i had to get a 6cylinder power steering pump and lines or can i use my 4 cyl pump with 6cyl lines.

hmm... can't remember what I did personally. But I'm 80% sure that I used the 6cyl power steering pump since i had a whole donor car. jesse can give you a better answer than i can.

Check list: S52 swap, manual transmission swap, 3.25 LSD with M Coupe diff cover, SuperSprint muffler, M3 style mirrors, AFE intake, ASC delete, M50 Manifold swap, UUC strut bar, ZHP lighted knob, Vaders, M-tech interior, OEM armrest, AC Schintzer front lip, AC Schnitzer rear spoiler, Roof spoiler, 18'' rims, M3 front drilled brakes, LED interior lights, 3 spoke Euro style steering wheel, OEM roof spoiler and bike holder, Thule fairing, Euro tail lights, oil pressure guage, carbon fiber hood painted to original paint (still showing CF weaving), what's next to do...?

thanks, i bought a 328 motor that was only missing the pump, so i wanted to c if i could just use the 1 from the 4 cyl.

Pretty sure the mounts are different, you will definitely need the 328 PS line(s) though (it's just 1, the rest are hoses you can buy at an autoparts store).

Go on realOEM.com, look up the power steering pump for the M44 and M52, compare part numbers. If they are the same then reuse the old one, if not, buy a 6 cyl version.

I have the M52 PS pump, but need the right PS line(s), which 1 line do I replace? And which ones can be sourced from the 318ti setup? thanks.
