Default Ran over deer - need help

I hit a deer and ran over it. The deer wiped out all my undercarriage plastic including ripping the wiring harness for the left temperature sensor and the right winter package sensor. Where do I get a wiring harness repair kit or are there any modifications i can make to get my temperature from reading -40 degrees? All I have are bare wires with no hareness for the sensors to plug back into. I do have all the replacement sensors. I have talked to BMW and they do not know!

Wow, thats crazy. BMW should have any parts that you need. I would check local junk yards first to see if they have any cars that you can pull parts from. Im not sure but I dont think the parts you need are ti specific so you can probably pull them from a wrecked sedan or coupe.

If you hit a deer and call your insurance,,,

You MUST say,,, "A deer jumped in front of my car and went under my car and did the damage."

If you say
"I hit a deer" you are at fault. No sh** they really play this game....

Most all adjusters are trained not to ask any furthur questions.

Yes, I did report to insurance and am working with an import collision specialist and he is having trouble locating the wiring harness through BMW and junkyards.
I ended up high center on the deer! Ha Ha! I could not get off of the deer. It was kinda comical sitting there in the passing lane on a busy highway with a deer stuck under my 318!

Haynes manual should have a wiring diagram for you.

Somebody from this forum (with a stable internet connection) should be able to track down where the wires lead to, from there you can find the severed wires and match up the colors.

When you reconnect them, I suggest using liquid electrical tape or posi-lock connectors to keep the water out.
