Default Idle problem and TPS on M44

I'm in process on trying to find out why my car is throwing a code (P0505 - Idle system malfunction) after failing the emission test. While driving for about 15min and coming to a stop at a light, the idle will sometimes be normal other times it stays around 1000 rpm or it will either jump up and down between 900-1,800 rpm. I've searched for the problems I'm having, so far I've replaced the idle control valve, crank case vent valve, vacuum hoses, 02 sensor (pre-cat), replace MAF with a junkyard one, and checked the AFM hose for any cracks and there was none. I rest the code and it was gone, but not until I rev the engine, the code comes back. Is there anything that I missed that will cause this code to appear?

When I replace the idle control valve, I accidentally removed throttle position sensor. Is there anyone that can tell me what the resistance is suppose to be at when adjusting the TPS? I have a Chilton repair manual, but it doesn't say anything about resistance.

I'm not sure on the resistance but the TPS needs to be set with INPA. I might be able to get a voltage value for you since I track voltage from the sensor with my LM-2 when I log data for my tuner.

The sensor runs off a 0-5 volt reading as most sensors do on the BMW. I'm tapped directly into my sensors hardwire and I think the TPS should read around 0 volts at closed and 5 volts at WOT. You can't see the original marks where it was screwed in?

Anyways I will try to get a voltage reading but it will most likely not help you really need INPA to set the TPS 100% correctly...

I've been searching around and wanted to know if 4 KOHM is what the resistance suppose to be at?

I just looked at realoem.com and is says it under the description #2.
