This is what I do. I use Mother's clay bar kit. It comes with everything you need for the claying portion. Then I use Meguirs NXT formulas, they work wonders, the car looks closest to new as possible without paying $500 for the professional waxes and cleaners. For Example pinnacle is crazy expensive but their stuff works extremely well as far as I heard.....I would dish out that money if my car was actually garaged. I am hoping to do this treatment soon...whenever I have an entire day off, when I do I will take pictures and give a step by step of what I do. I love detailing my car so i always come up with a thousand pictures afterwards. But those are my Recommendations. Mothers Clay Kit and Meguirs NXT formulas __________________ my new world | | | 08-22-2005, 07:31 AM | #7 | Senior Member Join Date: Aug 2004 Location: state college, pa Posts: 3,431 | nxt is silicone based, IIRC. | | | 08-22-2005, 08:37 AM | #8 | Senior Member Join Date: May 2005 Location: England, UK Posts: 1,288 | silicone... eeewwww __________________ 1995 BMW 316i Cosmos Black Mods: • Magnex Cat-Back Exhaust • Smoked Corner Lights + Repeators • M3 17" Wheels • De-Baffled Air Box • AC HandBrake Handle and Gear Knob • DEPO Euro Epsiloids + Predator Chronium Rings • Chrome Interior bits •IE Poly-Urethane RSFMs • Kenwood Power Series Audio • Powder Coated e36 325 Front Callipers • Sports Seats | | | 08-23-2005, 06:18 PM | #9 | Senior Member Join Date: May 2005 Location: England, UK Posts: 1,288 | Spent six hours today doing this and my legs and back kill! washed with soft wash. dryed. clayed with meguires quick clay and quick detailer. dryed. washed with soft wash. dryed. gold class liquid wax. looks fantastic!! but i can't be bothered to take pics atm. __________________ 1995 BMW 316i Cosmos Black Mods: • Magnex Cat-Back Exhaust • Smoked Corner Lights + Repeators • M3 17" Wheels • De-Baffled Air Box • AC HandBrake Handle and Gear Knob • DEPO Euro Epsiloids + Predator Chronium Rings • Chrome Interior bits •IE Poly-Urethane RSFMs • Kenwood Power Series Audio • Powder Coated e36 325 Front Callipers • Sports Seats | | | | Currently Active Users Viewing This Thread: 1 (0 members and 1 guests) | | Posting Rules | You may not post new threads You may not post replies You may not post attachments You may not edit your posts HTML code is Off | | | Similar Threads | Thread | Thread Starter | Forum | Replies | Last Post | How do you guys weigh things | momorugger | General Chit Chat | 0 | 05-15-2007 11:47 PM | |
