Was thinking about picking it up (I'm 35 mins away in Annapolis) but figured shipping wouldn't be too bad, so just did that. Thanks again for the great deals, Evan and Jason. My paychecks will be helpless if prices like these continue!!! __________________ She's no longer mine, but I gotta keep the pic Current euro: Black MkIII VW Gti VR6 | | | 08-17-2008, 04:29 AM | #77 | Senior Member Join Date: Jun 2003 Location: Saint Paul, MN Posts: 3,244 | Can I get a price on a retro fit kit to add seat heaters to the sport seat itself? __________________ My Former Rides 1999 318ti Alpine White, Cali Roof, Dinan goodies 1996 318ti Hellrot California Edition | | | 12-06-2008, 06:13 AM | #78 | Junior Member Join Date: Nov 2006 Location: northboro Posts: 11 | Quote: Originally Posted by 96cali Can I get a price on a retro fit kit to add seat heaters to the sport seat itself? | +1 well +2 seats :P | | | 12-07-2008, 02:07 AM | #79 | Senior Member Join Date: Aug 2006 Location: central ct Posts: 503 | just ordered the shift knob. thanks! __________________ 2010 Genesis Coupe 2.0t track | 2000 Dakota Former 1995 318ti owner | | | 12-08-2008, 08:40 PM | #80 | Member Join Date: Jun 2008 Location: Silver Spring, MD Posts: 42 | Quote: Originally Posted by briansol just ordered the shift knob. thanks! | Thanks for your support, Evan and I appreciate it! | | | 12-16-2008, 03:29 AM | #81 | Junior Member Join Date: Jun 2008 Location: Painted Post, NY Posts: 15 | My new shift knob arrived. Great price & fast/free delivery, thanks getBMW parts.com. This could be embarrassing...to get the old knob off, I just pull up on it? Also don't hit your mirror. __________________ ...steven BMW CCA #146825 1996 BMW 328ti • 2003 MINI Cooper S • 2016 M235i www.bmwcca.org | | | 12-16-2008, 04:00 AM | #83 | Senior Member Join Date: Sep 2007 Location: asdfasdf Posts: 10,002 | and don't put your thumb over the top of the knob or you'll crush it if you slam the headliner, ask me how I know EDIT: you'll probably also break the clips inside doing that so don't pull it off before you have the new knob ready to go in | | | 12-16-2008, 04:05 AM | #84 | Junior Member Join Date: Jun 2008 Location: Painted Post, NY Posts: 15 | Thanks for the quick reply. I've had one for a few months now and it's been a great improvement to my entire LIFE. My old shift knob was loose, and that made the entire car feel loose because it's one of the "driver contact points" with the car. With this shift knob, the car handles smoother, tighter, quicker... just better. This shift knob is also a little smaller than my old sport shift knob. This had the effect of making my hands feel larger... which made me feel bigger... which improved my self-confidence... which improved my interactions with the ladies... which increased my odds of a SCORE! Buy this shift knob... NOW... and thank me later. You won't regret it! __________________ Real men know how to SEARCH!
