I am having problems with my hood. It is over more towards the driver's side. I was wondering if there is any way I can adjust it to where it sits even on the car. Can anyone help me??? And just in case you can't seem to picture this. I will explain again. The hood is over to the driver's side too much and on the passenger side it leaves a small gap between hood and fender. Thanks for any help. __________________ custom dual exhaust,M3 front and rear bumper, 10.4 inch roof mount drop screen, Viper alarm system, DSII's rims, M3 Vader Seats, M3 Mirrors, Carbon Fiber CAI, Smoked Corners, Side Markers, Leatherz armrests, black grilles 225k miles and still the Ti goes on | | | 11-15-2007, 04:27 PM | #2 | Senior Member Join Date: Sep 2007 Location: asdfasdf Posts: 10,002 | You may need to un-bolt the hood and move it over on the hinges. | | | 11-15-2007, 04:52 PM | #3 | Senior Member Join Date: Oct 2007 Location: Eugene Oregon Posts: 6,182 | Quote: Originally Posted by tiFreek You may need to un-bolt the hood and move it over on the hinges. | if you loosen the bolts just a little you can easily adjust and slide around where you want it to sit __________________ -Josh Sold-1995 318ti, Club Sport, Hellrot Sold-1996 318ti, Active Model, Boston Green Current- 1995 318ti, sport model, schwartz | | | 11-15-2007, 04:59 PM | #4 | Senior Member Join Date: Sep 2007 Location: asdfasdf Posts: 10,002 | Yeah that's what I ment. | | | 11-15-2007, 09:38 PM | #5 | Senior Member Join Date: May 2006 Location: Memphis, Tn Posts: 1,299 | thanks for the help you guys __________________ custom dual exhaust,M3 front and rear bumper, 10.4 inch roof mount drop screen, Viper alarm system, DSII's rims, M3 Vader Seats, M3 Mirrors, Carbon Fiber CAI, Smoked Corners, Side Markers, Leatherz armrests, black grilles 225k miles and still the Ti goes on | | | 11-15-2007, 09:41 PM | #6 | Senior Member Join Date: Oct 2007 Location: Eugene Oregon Posts: 6,182 | anytime __________________ -Josh Sold-1995 318ti, Club Sport, Hellrot Sold-1996 318ti, Active Model, Boston Green Current- 1995 318ti, sport model, schwartz | | | 11-18-2007, 09:37 AM | #7 | Senior Member Join Date: Feb 2007 Location: Oklahoma Posts: 179 | Mine is doing that.. It's sticking up higher about 1/8" on the passenger side.. My rear window is also raising up a little on the drivers side.. Seems time to replace suspension. | | | 11-18-2007, 03:47 PM | #8 | Senior Member Join Date: Aug 2005 Location: Florida Posts: 2,525 | A worn out suspension will not cause the unibody to twist.. That sounds more like frame damage. | | | 11-19-2007, 04:51 PM | #9 | Senior Member Join Date: Oct 2007 Location: Eugene Oregon Posts: 6,182 | does it have a salvaged title? or can you tell if it has been it a wreck before? __________________ -Josh Sold-1995 318ti, Club Sport, Hellrot Sold-1996 318ti, Active Model, Boston Green Current- 1995 318ti, sport model, schwartz | | | 11-20-2007, 12:22 AM | #10 | Senior Member Join Date: Feb 2007 Location: Oklahoma Posts: 179 | Doesn't have a salvage title and from what previous owners said, it has never been in a wreck before.. | | | | Currently Active Users Viewing This Thread: 1 (0 members and 1 guests) | | Posting Rules | You may not post new threads You may not post replies You may not post attachments You may not edit your posts HTML code is Off | | | |
