Only thing I recently noticed was yesterday I could not access the photo section.

I'm trying to move it to another location to make backing up easier.
The only data that changes on a regular basis are the photos.
By moving it will mean I don't have to backup the entire site everytime.
So far it has been more trouble than it's worth.
I'll get it squared away by the weekend.

Sorry about the extra google adds. Site supporters don't get them.
Works fine for me. Thanks!

I noticed things acting funny for a few days and figured you guys were doing site maintenance. The galleries have been up and down, but I understand the headaches these sites cause and all of the work they take to maintain. I have no complaints, keep up the great work and Happy Holidays!!!

ps If you think this site has issues try bf.c They seem to be back up and running fine now. I think they worked on it through the night a few nights back as I couldn't even open their page. I finally got my permissions set to post IMGs and links on that site, so I'm pretty stoked!

I wanted to portion off the gallery but it turned out to be more of a headache than it's worth. I might try again in the future. bf.c is a very busy site with dedicated servers.

Absolutely, and with the holidays and all of the rush it's amazing both sites can even keep up. I'm sure the supporters and administrators have little time as it is, and would much rather spend it shopping and with their family. Most of us use our Bimmers as daily drivers, and with all of the running around during this time of year people are more likely to have car troubles. We're very fortunate to have such a tight community that's always willing to take a little time to help a fellow bimmer owner out. And of course it's nice to shoot the $#!t with other people who share the same passion for driving. Thanks again to all of those people who make these forums work and a very Merry Christmas to all of the owners sportin the hatch!

Stephen, I still get the map when I log in and lose the nice layout of the opening page. I do now have the recent posts but nothing else. The only way to get to the gallery is to logout. The navigation on the left when not logged in disapears when you log in. Thanks for the geat site. I have been enjoying the ti with you and others since 1999.

I noticed somethings different too. I upgraded last week. I need to look into this a bit further.

There's something else that I noticed a couple of days ago and just figured out.

I'm using Mozilla 1.7.11 on Linux (Mandriva 2006) and the "Advanced Mode" for the message editor now works in both "WYSIWYG" mode and in "source" mode. Not a complaint... just an observation.

It's possible that the default setting got changed and it defaults to the WYSIWYG mode, whereas it defaulted to source mode before and I never knew that WYSIWYG mode existed until now. heh heh heh
