I don't want to remove it totally, or maybe I do and put in some kind of button cap, buy the way who uses their rear wipers? | | | 06-04-2006, 04:45 PM | #2 | Member Join Date: Apr 2006 Location: Bristol UK Posts: 91 | Quote: Originally Posted by grm buy the way who uses their rear wipers? | ME! - one of the reason's i've got a compact & not a coupe (that & the hatchback & about 20 others. It's pretty rainy most of the time in the uK - so it's definitely needed - even in the dry sunny weather currently - it clears away all the dust & tree bits & stuff. have you removed the whole wiper inc the motor? maybe you could get a blanking plate. __________________ 1997 Moreagrun | | | 06-04-2006, 05:42 PM | #3 | Member Join Date: May 2006 Location: asheville, nc, usa Posts: 82 | i haven't done anything yet, other than taking the blade and arm off. i was thinking about putting a spoiler on my car, and every thing i read about spoilers it says not for ti's due to the rear wiper it think. i don't use the rear wiper anyhow. | | | 06-04-2006, 05:47 PM | #4 | doesn't care about you. Buy a spoiler that is designed for a 318ti, otherwise you are going to have to do some body work to make it fit. __________________ '99 Dinan M3 | | | 06-04-2006, 07:28 PM | #5 | TRETEN IRGENDEINES ESELS Join Date: Aug 2004 Location: Rhode Island Posts: 3,687 | Quote: Originally Posted by grm buy the way who uses their rear wipers? | I use mine all the time,i wish my two previous hatches had a windshield wiper in the rear. __________________ 98 Avus Blue 318 ti Active clear outs all around, stealth turning signals, blue led interior lights, 35% tinted windows,K&N air filter, 12" Kenwood Sub, MTX Thunder Amp,Alpine cd changer, Leatherz Armrest,ACS Pedals/Handbrake/FloorMats & Vitesse Tuning Carbon Fiber B-Pillars/CF Spark Plug Cover, New 16" MSW Typer 14 Rims on Goodyear Triple Treds www.myspace.com/avusblueti | | | 06-04-2006, 07:35 PM | #6 | Senior Member Join Date: Apr 2006 Location: Berkeley, CA Posts: 411 | I am constantly using mine. I've been wondering how to get that thing to squirt!! I'm going to try this tomorrow How do you have to hold it for? oh yeah, I use the rear wipers too. I do the double tap, so it would just wipe once, I don't like to leave it on. | | | 02-03-2007, 11:55 AM | #11 | Senior Member Join Date: Mar 2005 Location: Portland Or Posts: 2,666 | BMW made minor mistake in their washer nozzles, they have AL and Stainless bits in there and they corrode, no problem if you use them a lot but they plug easy. I keep a sewing pin stuck in the driver headrest cloth to clean it with... My rear wiper dribbles fluid but the blade does not move.
